The feather design aids in two functions; Food release and ease of resistance to fabricating food.
Say goodbye to things that stick to your blade, this knife wont allow vegetables or any product to stick it. No more mess on the cutting board.
The ease of resistance means that whenever cutting anything, it dramatically lowers the force to cut through product, making this knife feel smooth, safe, and seamless as if, for example an onion were butter.

Maintenance of the Majime Limited Edition is quick and easy. It is a stainless blade, but from a chef to another, always wipe down after use. The copper will patina naturally to your culinary footprint.
Like all my high end blades, never put this in a dishwasher to clean.
