As someone who delves into creating asymmetric grinds in knives, there is a balance between food release and resistance to cutting when actually grinding in the bevels.
This knife focuses more on an extremely thin geometry. When testing this knife on produce, it performed beyond expectation.
The Masutā II is a very sleek gyuto, much inspired like a scaled kiritsuke for its edge curvature.

Aided by a technical S grind, this gyuto helps in food release and ease of cutting.

High Carbon steel naturally oxidizes. It is favored amongst cook and professional chefs for its ease of sharpening and razor bone edge. After use, it will patina, call it your own culinary footprint in your blade. A simple wipe down is necessary after use. Apply mineral oil.
